Kim Kardashian refuses to return Kris Humphries' ring

It’s fascinating to break down the details of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ very real divorce for their very fake wedding. Kris is doing everything he can to hit home the idea that their 72-day marriage and the televised wedding that preceded it were an absolute sham—and to that end, he wants his ring back.

It’s rather surprising that Kim, being the one to file for divorce, has held on to her bling for the past year. Oh, wait, I forgot I’m talking about the Kardashians—it’s not surprising at all that she’d want to keep her rock. Even though weekly there are rumors of her wedding new boyfriend Kanye West, who we’re sure could afford an even glitzier ring. (Although it’s valued at $2 million, Kris got away with paying “only” $75,000. We imagine Kanye would not go for a similar discount.)

Cost aside, the ring has more significance to Kris than Kim. His camp is playing up the emotional connection that Kris had when he proposed, that Kim lacked. “She has made it plain that she has no intention of returning it though and feels she is within her legal right to refuse as she went through with the wedding,” . “However, Kris contends that the marriage was a total sham and that Kim only wed him for publicity so therefore she has no right to keep such an expensive gift.I just wonder why he had to get married to her before he discovered that, wait they are not blacks, which naija girl would pretend to love you and get married to you for publicity, then leave you after 72days,if she is marrying  you for that then she wont leave u alive after the 72 days #shikena#

Kris doesn’t understand why Kim would even want to keep the ring anyway,. It obviously has no sentimental value as she has publicly declared their wedding as ‘a huge mistake’ and she certainly doesn’t need the money, so why can't she just return it to him?

Maybe Kim just likes owning memorabilia from her previous boyfriends. She’s got Kris’ ring, Reggie Bush‘s dignity, Ray-J’s sex tape… It’s all very sentimental, really
