Lunaediesophobia! fear of mondays




If you were given a chance to delete or make one day of the week a free day,i can bet you all would pick Monday,well Monday is just a day of the week,i guess the issue is because it is the first day after weekend.

human beings love holidays,they get exited when they dont have to go to work the next day and then get sad when they have to resume work the next day,so the guy MONDAY is suffering from transferred aggression,you are just upset that you would have to go back to work after clubbing on Friday night,lounging with friends and going to "owanbe" on Saturday and hanging out with friends and family on Sunday,how is that Monday's fault?


To avoid this Lunaediesophobia,i relax on Mondays.i take things easy,if i av to make anything or render any service to anyone,i don't fix Mondays,i also decided that when i get my fashion house Monday would just be cleaning day an day to shop and fix things for the rest of the week,this i can do because i am self employed,you cant do that because you work for someone,so here are some tips to help make your Monday stress and fear free.
Less fun weekend

Every Friday you leave work knowing that you would come back on Monday,why party all weekend then,to have a stress Monday you have to start planning from Friday,pay short visit,have minimum fun,if you have to engage in something that would take so much energy from you on sat,you should rest on sun.if you even have to go out on Sunday,make it short so you wont rush into Monday.


Get to work early

Another big reason Monday turns out the way it does,many people go to work late on Mondays,even tho they planned to come early.before deciding on when to leave your house put every factor into consideration,think about traffic,add extra 30 mins to your resumption time,if you walk into your office on time you would get better output at the end of the day,but if u run in or walkrun in u might not be organized throughout the day,if you ever get organized it would b after about 2hours.so try to always make it early.


Take a few deep breaths

when work is becoming a puzzle on Monday or any other day just chill and take a deep breath,being stressed can cause higher levels of anxiety. A great way to reduce this is to take a few deep breaths. It can be done at your desk, or away from your desk. Stop what you’re doing for a moment, take a deep breath for a few seconds, and exhale. Do this a few times. It should allow you to calm down a little and therefore make you feel a little less stressed and more focused.

Get away from your desk
i do this a lot in school,Sometimes you just need a break from your work. Your employer doesn't expect you to be at your desk for the entire day. If they do, it’s unrealistic and unproductive on a larger scale. Taking a break from your work – even if you just wash your face in the bathroom, or get a drink of water, they can help reduce the feeling of stress in a situation,and believe me you come back refreshed,its like restarting your brain.

Keep people informed
carrying people that matter is very important,Stressful situations are often imposed by other people rather than yourself. If your boss has given you a deadline or a customer is waiting for some information, it’s a great idea to keep them informed of your progress. This way, they won’t be as anxious for you to get your work done as they know where it’s at. It will also most likely reduce the number of times the call/email/come to speak to you and ask about your work – which will then reduce interruptions and stress.

Stay organized

It’s important, both in general and while you’re working to a deadline, to keep yourself organized. Keep to your normal file structure when saving files. Take notes as you usually would. Organize your documentation or source code as you normally do. If you try to do a rush job when doing this work, it will most likely slow you down later, when you try to remember where you saved that file or what that piece of code does.

And, I think that’s something you just need to push to the side and just go for it.”

I am quite confident if every word of this hub is read carefully, Monday mornings can turn to be lot easier than they were ever before.
